Hall's top tenant

11 July 2009

Our warmest congratulations to Diana Aston, has received the ACT Housing, Tenant of the Month Award! Di lives at number 5 Mulangarri Gardens, where there is always some bright colours in the garden.

John Hargraves Minister for Housing made the presentation at Mulangarri yesterday. Diana has been a Hall resident for two years. She was born in Canberra and lived her young life at The Causeway. A student at Telopea Park High School, she then married and lived in Dickson for many years. Di has
moved around in her life, including living in a caravan on the coast at Tomakin.

Di has three sons, sixteen grand children and eleven great grand children. Di has another special mate - her dog Gypsy. They can often be seen on walks around our wonderful village.

Di is keen to start up a garden club to share local gardening knowledge and encourage community interaction. The garden club could help beautify the public domain with native shrubs in areas such as around the Pavillon, the main street, and the Museum.
