Sausage Sizzle

Great weather enabled groups from the Friends of the Hall School Museum and the Hall Mens Shed to gather and enjoy a celebratory sausage sizzle. The celebration was for the recently awarded ACT Heritage grants. One to the Hall Progress Association for the School Museum and one for local resident Allen Mawer for his work on the Acton Peninsula, "Canberry Tales". Unfortunately Allen could'nt attend. It was also an opportunity to thank the "friends" who have been busily conserving the museum collection and the Mens Shed who have been repairing display cases and are currently re-furbishing the storeroom.
Everyone had a great time and watch this space for further community get togethers.
