Log seats launched

4 May 2009

Hall's doughty Bootstrap Brigade strikes again. Village walkers will have spotted the new bush furniture at the old well site.

Brigade 'commander' Bob Richardson spotted an opportunity when the chainsaws arrived in the Hall Nature reserve. With muscular assistance from a couple of "Gregs" (Greg Flower and Greg Palethorpe) a hefty log was sawn down the middle and carted down to the well where the two slabs have now been placed up on blocks.

The 'launch' seems to have been a well-kept secret, but our photo shows Hall identities 'Shoppie' and Margaret Monahan and Bob with glasses in their hands.

If you have ideas for future Bootstrap Brigade operations, give Bob a ring on 0407 071 245.
