Yass Valley Council - Community Consultation

6 February 2009

Early in 2009, Council will again undertake the Community Consultation tour of the entire local government area. For Hall district resident there will be a meeting at the Wallaroo Fire Shed on 9th February at 7.30 pm. This provides an opportunity for you to raise issues/projects that you would like Council to consider in the formulation of the next Management Plan.

The Yass Valley Council Management Plan is produced annually, but covers a three-year period, to ensure that it
supports the future direction of our local government area and delivers appropriate outcomes in meeting the community's needs and expectations.

As we all know, everything cannot be done for everybody at the same time. With this in mind it is important that the Community provides us with their opinions and views of the direction that Yass Valley Council should be taking.

This is also an opportunity for Council to give you an overview of projects that have been achieved since the previous consultation process.

Please join Council's respresentatives at a venue near you and be involved in the process of ensuring Yass Valley
remains a great place to live.

If you are unable to attend any of the meetings, you are still invited to provide any comments or suggestions that you may
have.
