Pavilion - 'party' abuse

21 February 2008

Hall Pavilion was recently the scene of a wild, noisy, anti-social party. Residents close to the Pavilion were particularly badly affected by noise and drunken behaviour. Sadly, we are now vulnerable to 'swarming' behaviour - parties attracting very large numbers of uninvited (or invited) 'guests' - as a result of text messaging.

Residents can be assured that the Association is well aware of the problem. We already have in place significant restrictions on use of the Pavilion and a thorough 'screening' process for hirers. We are now carefully considering what additional measures we can introduce. There are disturbing indications that local teenagers are part of the problem.

If you have suggestions about how to addess this matter, or information about activities at the Pavilion, please contact us.
